What is thermal imaging?
Thermal Imaging is a superior tool for detecting flaws in the home that are otherwise invisible to traditional inspection methods.

How does it work?
We use a state-of-the-art FLIR (Forward Looking Infra-Red) camera to take “heat images” of objects in your home to measure their infrared emission and absorption levels.

These images are used to detect hidden flaws in your home, such as moisture damage, electric hotspots and misplaced insulation.

Why should you get a thermal imaging inspection?
Thermal, or infrared, imaging gives you very detailed knowledge of your home’s condition and value through non-contact and non-invasive methods.

It’s presently used across a wide range of industries and applications including electrical and mechanical maintenance, product development and building envelope inspections.

Woodbury Inspection Group, Inc. is the only inspection company in the state of Hawaii to carry an Infrared Training Center (ITC) Level One Certification (meets ISO 9001 testing standards).
