Alex and Michael Woodbury
For 16 years, Woodbury Inspection Group Inc. has served Hawaii with commercial and residential building inspections, consultation and expert witness testimony for the building industry.
Prior to this, Woodbury Building and Construction for 30 years built some of the finest luxury estate homes and commercial medical facilities in Hilo, Waimea, Kohala, Kailua-Kona, Kona and Keauhou. View the Woodbury built homes gallery.
We now average over 1,000 residential inspections a year and have performed nearly 12,000 residential and commercial inspections to date in the State of Hawaii.

Family Owned & Operated
- Michael Woodbury, Founder and President. Michael is a licensed general contractor in Hawaii, (license #BC-18542). He has been building on the Big Island since 1980 and entered his carpenter’s apprenticeship in 1968.
- Alex Woodbury. Alex is the immediate past president of the Hawaii State Chapter of American Society of Home Inspectors, a nationally certified thermographer and a dealer and distributor for FLIR Systems. He has 15 years of building experience and provides consultation on green building, latest building techniques and product specification for new construction and incremental construction inspections. Alex is also a member of the US Green Building Council.
